How it works.

You got a Take.
Better hurry, it won’t wait. You can read the caption, but the Take itself stays blurred.
Why blurred? It’s your Turn.
To see their Take, you send one first. Tap the blurred Take in the top-left corner of their card to reply.
Capture yours.
Take a photo, add a caption and choose how long they get to catch it.
Catch theirs.
Tap Send & Catch. Your Take goes out and theirs opens, once, for 15 seconds.
Now it’s their Turn.
Your Take reaches them blurred. To see it, they reply. And round it goes.

Receive. Reply.Catch. Repeat.

That’s one Turn, start to finish.

Is TakeTurn free?

Yes, completely. No ads, no in-app purchases, no one-time payments and no subscriptions. Nothing in TakeTurn costs money, and we never sell your data.

Why do I have to send a Take to see theirs?

That’s the whole point. Everyone shares, so nobody just watches. You can read their caption first, so you know what you’re replying to.

What if I don’t reply in time?

The Take disappears and shows as missed. Missing one Take never breaks your streak with a friend.

Can people screenshot my Take?

No. TakeTurn blocks screenshots and screen recordings of Takes. No app can stop someone from using another camera, so only send what you’re comfortable sharing.

How do I get in?

Join the waiting list here on the website or in the app. We let people in over time, and a friend who’s already on TakeTurn can be your reference to get you in sooner.

Who sees my verification selfie?

Only our team. It’s never shown to anyone else, never used for face recognition, and it’s deleted as soon as we decide.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings, then Account options. You can also delete it here on the website by signing in.
