California Privacy Notice
Your California privacy rights under the CCPA/CPRA.
The CCPA gives you rights; it does not ask us to collect your consent, and there is nothing to opt out of because we do not sell or share personal information. (The CCPA may not apply to us until we meet its size thresholds; we give this notice anyway.)
Business: RETROBOND TEKNOLOJİ BİLİŞİM LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ, Cumhuriyet Mah. Fatih Sultan Mehmet Blv. Cadde 224 No: 41 A/A, Nilüfer, Bursa, Türkiye. Contact: support@taketurn.co.
1. Notice at collection (last 12 months)
| Category (CCPA) | What we collect | Why | Kept |
|---|---|---|---|
| Identifiers | Apple/Google account identifier, email (or Apple relay address), first name, username, IP address, push token | Run the account, security, support | Privacy Policy Section 10 |
| Personal information in customer records (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.80) | Birthday (never shown) | Check the 18+ rule | While the account exists |
| Characteristics of protected classifications | Age (18+) | Same | Same |
| Audio, visual or similar | Profile photo, Takes and captions, selfies | Deliver Takes; verification | Takes until viewed or missed; safety copy up to 24 hours; selfie deleted after the decision |
| Internet or network activity | App-open day streak, friends, delivery status, activity status (opened in the last 48 hours, shown only to friends), usage statistics under a random code, and crash logs once crash reporting is switched on | Run features; security; improve the app; fix crashes | Privacy Policy Section 10 (usage statistics 25 months; crash logs up to 90 days) |
| Approximate location (not precise geolocation) | Country or region estimated from IP | Security; "People you may know"; the legal documents that apply to you | While the account exists |
| Inferences | A yes/no "may be sensitive" mark computed on the phones; none used for profiling or ads | Safety | The mark lives with the Take |
- We do not sell or share personal information (no cross-context behavioral advertising), and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those the CPRA allows. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the data of anyone under 18 because the service is 18+.
- Sensitive personal information we may hold: the contents of Takes (private photos) that you send and receive. We use them only to deliver them and to enforce our rules after a report.
- Disclosures for a business purpose: Cloudflare (hosting), Apple and Google (sign-in, notifications, app integrity checks, support email and, once switched on, crash reports), and to NCMEC and authorities where the law requires.
- Child safety: we do not automatically scan Takes; a person reviews reports, and we report apparent CSAM to NCMEC (18 U.S.C. 2258A). The on-phone sensitive-content check uploads nothing.
2. Your rights
Know, access and portability; delete; correct; limit use of sensitive personal information (we use it only as above, so there is nothing to limit); opt out of sale or sharing (not applicable); no discrimination for using your rights. Ask in the app (Settings > Report an issue > "Privacy request or a copy of my data"), at taketurn.co/support, or at support@taketurn.co. We verify the request against your account, confirm within 10 business days and answer within 45 days (one 45-day extension with notice). An authorized agent may ask for you with your written permission. We honor opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control; they have no effect because we do not sell or share.
3. Other
- "Shine the Light" (Civ. Code 1798.83): we do not share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing.
- Do Not Track: the app and site do not track across sites.
- Other US states: Privacy Policy Section 12.3.
